What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. Browsers also offer "local storage", which does the same job and is covered by the same law, the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations. This page covers both and calls them cookies for short.
The law sorts them into two kinds. Essential ones are needed for something you have asked the site to do, and do not need your consent. Everything else, such as analytics and advertising, needs you to say yes first.
Essential storage, always on
These are the only items this website stores. Both are kept in your browser's local storage and neither is sent to anyone but us.
| Name | What it is for | How long it lasts |
|---|---|---|
sb-scusopxxeamapkijuvfh-auth-token | Keeps you signed in to the assessor app or the admin panel. It is created only when you sign in. | Until you sign out. It renews itself while you keep using the site. |
aa_cookie_choice | Remembers that you have seen the cookie notice, and your choice if you were asked for one, so you are not asked on every page. | Up to 12 months |
Optional cookies
Other companies
No other company sets cookies through this site. Pages load their typefaces from Google Fonts and the sign-in pages load open source code from the jsDelivr network. Those requests do not set cookies, but the services do see your IP address, as described in our privacy notice.
Links that take you elsewhere, such as Google Maps, Apple Maps or the government's certificate register, open those sites under their own cookie policies.
Changing your mind
You can reopen the cookie notice at any time.
You can also clear or block cookies and local storage in your browser's settings. If you block the essential storage you will not be able to stay signed in.
